It's great.
Strangely, the first time I used it I had horrible interference with the detector. I did a noise cancel and it made it a lot better. After that first day, I never had another problem even though I have noise-cancelled many times without the Carrot being turned on.
Jason, I just 2 weeks ago bought the new Nokta with the 2 orange tips. I already had the Garrett Pro pointer (black original one)
and the Deteknix Xpointer. I did extensive and I mean extensive tests in the yard and on the table of all 3. They all 3 were within
1/8" of detection depth (with the tips off the Nokta) with both the Xpointer and Nokta at full power. The Garrett I have is over 3 years
old and has always falsed if you pushed the end or sides of it ""at all"". I even sent it back to Garrett before the warranty was out and
they said they did a complete rebuild of it but included a note warning me not to push dirt with it in any direction. I never have. If
the grass was thick, all I would do is press the grass down and it would go off and it had periods where it would go off with one loud
beep until you cut it off. It was for that reason I did not go with the Carrott. Does yours still have the same attitude as the original
one about pushing sideways or directly on the end with a small amount of pressure in the palm of your hand? I can't put my finger
on it but I just don't like this Nokta and would love to sell it while it is still new.
