I have recently learned that a few minor settings or mode changes can greatly affect your targets VDI's. I think it is bad advice to give blanket statements like 12-15's are always bad. That may be the case with your current settings, but with a few simple changes, 12-XX becomes a range where desirable targets fall in again. My advice, for what it's worth; test various targets using your current settings rather than not dig certain targets ID's based on someone else's settings and results. JJ
JJ that's great advice. I don't dig 12/15's. However, the only war nickel I have ever found hit at 12/15 and had the look on the screen and the sound that I just couldn't
walk away from without digging it. That's when I started digging every 12/15 I came across. I got a s load of pull tabs and never found anything else in over 680 recorded targets. I got lucky once. If there is something we are all missing at 12/15 in our set up, please tell us as this kind of information is what "fellow" hunters use this forum for. To
help each other. What adjustment do I need to make that will change the pull tabs from 12/15 and make the 12/15 a worth while dig? I am serious. What are we doing
wrong with our settings that you know about that can keep us from digging pull tabs at 12/15?
