I dig anything that has a 12 for the Co number and I usually set my Fe at 27 . I've dug 7" nickles at 24-12. I'm sure the dirt has lots to do with the Fe number so I blow it off alot and just ignore it. I have a dozen or so gold rings from hunting in the dirt and all between 13-13 and 11-03 with 12 -08 and 12 -06 gettng the most play. One at 12-16 that was a very wide but thin ring with Arabic symbols. I've dug silver rings that were thin but intact down to 12-31. You should look at all solid tones with tight tracing seriously ....in my dirt 15s & 18s, are tabs and 11's are usually the tails but if it sounds really good I dig it anyway. Those giant tabs and can slaw chunks run inthe 20's and they're the really tough :thumbdown:ones.
