1) Get ML to replace them.
2) Set the new set aside as a backup.
3) Go to Radio Shack or somewhere similar and buy a replacement plug. They're inexpensive.
4) Cut off old plug on old headphones, strip wires, and install new plug. Some plugs are even screw-ons and don't require any soldering if you don't want to do that.
Did that a couple of years ago and have had no problem since. Some folks recommend getting a replacement plug with a 90degree angle and depending on the way you configure your gear, that may be an even better option.
