Question about the headphone inlet hole

Does the normal headphone inlet where you plug in your normal headphones, is there a "Plug" of some kind that would go into it when you want to dunk the unit. Right now it would obviously fill with water and if I lay it down in 2 feet of water must I first plug that hole?
