Yeah no problem - will take me a little while here to get home to get the pics though. Let me preface the rest of this with the following: I could have made it look better, it was just sort of an experiment.
Even closed, the cam lock is a little larger than 3/4" so I put a single layer wrap of black duct tape where the cam lock is (yeah, it's duct tape, but you don't see it anyway because it's up in the upper shaft). The dowel is 3/4" square and is siliconed in place. I may change that depending on how well this holds up in the long run, but it's solid so far. I also had to include a nylon washer to go between the brackets on the coil to get the spacing right...again, aesthetically speaking it could be better, but I'm fine with it. For the shaft to accept the cable I had to use an angle grinder to open up the pipe a bit on the back half and then the cable just barely fits up through the pipe.
