1. Have all the"known about" problems been sorted by Minelab? Such as new battery seal. I will be buying a brand new machine so am hoping it will be useable straight out the box. Bearing in mind I am in the UK and am unsure as to how hand to mouth supply is. I don't want to be upgrading an older model if you know what I mean.
2. Have read comments about Andys book on the 3030, and apart from the settings (which should surely be in the manual) is there any information I can use here in the UK?
AND before you all shoot me down, the reason I ask is I found the "explorer" book of no real use. And it seems I wasn't on my own.
Feel free to have a go by all means as it won't bother me, but I have to spend £2000 to get my machine.
